The Tazh judged soon by the president of the FCI
martin: I would like you to post in Russian a very interesiting news, and as far as I do not have Russian letters it makes me desperate to write in a language which I still do not speak still that well. I do hope there will be someone to translate the news into Russian. The good news is that on the 25th of Fabruary 2007 there will be the Champion's show in Leszno in western Poland. It is a show which is available ONLY for champion dogs - youth champions and adult champions and if one wants to have his/her dog registered for the show he/she must also send the champion certificate for the dog. The most important thing to repeat is that the president of the FCI for all the world Mr. Hans Muller will be judging sighthounds this time. It will be a great occasion for the tazhs to be judged by the president of the FCI himself as the breed will be enrolled for the show. I think it would be perfect if other owners of the tazh breed would come to show their dogs. This a crucial point and a great occasion to have it done. The same thing is aimed at taigans. So please, bring your taigans and tazhs to Poland in February. Please, pass this news to any sighthound owner you know. Best, Martin PS I have tried to enroll the tazhs and taigans for the World Dog Show. I have sent the money and the registration papers long time ago. The deadline for the registration is long time gone and we still have no answer. We might either get the money back and a goodbye kiss or be let to the show. As far as I live 80 km from the gate of the show I do not mind whatever happens.

martin: Registatsya stoit 80 PLN, eto budyet okolo 20 Euro. Gostinitsa - okolo 50-100 PLN za noch, znachit 15-25 Euro.
shangri: Мартин, Вы не могли бы ещё раз постараться объяснить, что это за ШОУ? А конкретно: Это пройдёт в рамках какойто выставки или отдельный показ? Куда писать? На каком языке принимаются заявки? Что требуется от Казахстана для владельцев (какие справки)? Конечный срок регистрации? Как и куда переслать деньги?

martin: If I must be precise I can do it better in English. I am sure someone will help to translate these few sentences into Russian. The show is an international Champion Show where only champion dog might be registered. The owner of the dog must be the member of one of the FCI member organization and have his/her yearly fee paid. If you register the dog for the show you have to send the champion or youth champion cerificate of the dog. The show is organized by one of the local clubs of the Polish leg of the FCI, namely it will take place in Leszno. The tazi shown at this show will take part of the show, there is no separate show for the tazi. As far as the show is concerned you can also check it sub-site: http://www.zkwp.leszno.pl/wystawy/champions.xhtml The only problem is that the sites are in Polish. I guess you might follow some things. If not - just ask me to translate parts of it. If you want any official statement, than you have to write or call the board.: http://www.zkwp.pl/ Since May up to now I have registered tazi for various shows as they are getting the Polish pedigree numbers due to factof tazi recognition in Poland. The tazi for abroad may be registered with the numbers of their respective FCI-organizations. I do not think there was any idea of sending ti FCI partners any statement of the recognition of tazi in Poland. Tazi is not recognized by the FCI so the matter does not interest the FCI as a whole. All pedigrees, registration matters due to tazi are just the local Polish thing. The board should be sending any statement concerning its decision for Poland to all FCI partners. I guess it would not be possible. Please, ask me if there is anything which is not clear or not sure.

shangri: Да! А ещё, я раньше так далеко никуда не выезжала, и только слышала что там какието справки на бешенство нужны, а нужны ли от Казахстана вообще? В общем нужна полная информация!
martin: 1. microchip or tatoo. Tatoo is more convenient, because if there is not chip reader on the borderline you should have your own to prove it is THE dog. 2. rabies vaccination 3. blood test for rabies antibodies done at least 30 days after vaccionation and 3 months before entering European Union. The blood samples must be sent to one of the laboratories listed by the EU and the certificate of antibody level must be sent to the vet in dog's home country. The vet copies the blood test results to his own health certificate and both documents must be taken with the dog to the EU. The test and the certificate are of multiple use. So if you do it once, you have it for good. The test costs about 70 USD or 50 Euro. I will look for the list of the EU laboratories.

martin: Well, depends if you take Polish or Estonian scale. It is actually about 350 km away from Warsaw, but you may take a train which will take you to Leszno in about 3h. You should buy a regular ticket and there are some incredible discounts for dogs. I would be happy if you come, because I love Estonia and Estonian people. Please, write me an email and I will tell you everything step by step. As I have written above there are three free places for tazy owners. Inagda priezhaet chashche, esli smozhet, potomu shto sdruzhilsya s prezidentom nashego kluba kinologov. Teper' my ego zhdyom v maye. Mne bylo by ochen' ugodno poluchit' teper' neskol'ko kopii standarta tazi z pechatkoy Natyolnal'nogo Kl'uba Tazi i Soyuza Kinologov Kazahstana, shto by emy etot standart perevestii na nemetskiy i dat', shto by znal, shto vsyo idyot v peryod. Mne tozhe nuzhen etot standart dlya nashego soyuza kinologov v Pol'she. No samoye glavnoye, shto by tam bylo mnogo pechatok y logo, vot takaya pechatnaya bolezn'.
